Princess Ballet Workshop with Ms. Katie

$25.00

Join Ms. Katie for an extra-special classical ballet WORKSHOP for your ballerina-in-training!

Saturday, September 20th | 9:45-10:50am

for EBA ballet students ages 4-6, both preschool and early-beginner class levels are welcome to attend!

Learn about PRINCESS characters featured throughout the classic story ballets with this fun and enriching weekend activity!

Created as an opportunity for students to practice their ballet technique from class time, create their own choreography, experience classical music from the ballet versions of Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, & Cinderella, and enjoy ballet-princess themed coloring pages, all while wearing their favorite princess costume and playing with a range of colorful props for dancing!

Students are encouraged to wear their ballet slippers from weekly classes AND their favorite princess costume from home, whether from a prior ballet performance or their halloween/dress-up costume collection! Hair is encouraged to be secured back in a ponytail or headband for the duration of this activity since we will be actively dancing similar to classes, to help keep everyone free of tripping and falling as much as possible!

Your student will leave this over an hour long activity with completed coloring pages, and additional coloring pages to enjoy at home, a princess themed sticker, and the joyful memories of twirling, leaping, and creating beautiful ballet dancing all together.

This activity is a drop-off experience, so feel free to get your kiddo settled at the studio room at the community center and then utilize the hour for “mommy me-time” with a Saturday morning walk at Cannon Park, or running errands, etc!

LIMITED space is available for this special event - early registration is encouraged to secure a spot!
