An additional performing opportunity for EBA students ages 5-6, giving the opportunity for older preschool class students and young beginner class students the chance to enjoy performing a soloist role in EBA’s fall recital showcase, The Nutcracker Ballet!
Your student’s junior student company registration and fee includes:
Selecting your student’s top 3 role options from the list included on the junior company registration form, from which your student is guaranteed to be cast as ONE of the roles they’ve highlighted (per director’s discretion)
Two 20-minute long private sessions with an EBA instructor to learn the customized choreography for their assigned soloist role
Customized choreography created just for your dancer appropriately scaled and highlighting their strengths and talents staying within a feasible 1-minute long piece length remaining mindful of junior company member’s age range/attention spans
Participation in 1 group rehearsal alongside the entire student company
Invite to a special Nutcracker-themed junior student company play date at the studio during December happening before the recital showcase
access to the student company only website page to easily reference any choreo recordings, notes, music assignments, and casting lists (if applicable).
Enrollment in a minimum of 1 weekly ballet class with EBA’s fall class session is required to be eligible for student company participation. The student company is an optional activity in tandem with weekly class, designed to provide extra performing opportunity for students who love the performance aspect of classical ballet training!
Communication from Katie with all student company families will go out the first week of August to solidify customized scheduling options for the associated private lessons, and proposed dates for group rehearsal schedule. (scheduling for junior student company private lessons will be established custom for each family, most likely before or after weekly class options possibly proposed for a Saturday or Sunday)
This student company registration is for the fall 2026 session only, and participation is only required for the fall session upon registering to participate. Student company registration is subject to renewal at the start of each class session, parallel to registering for weekly classes afresh each session.
EBA’s website is utilizing PayPal as our payment processor for the present while issues with connecting other payment processors are being worked out.
