An additional performing opportunity for EBA students ages 7+, our student company for the fall class session is the catalyst for soloist roles in our beloved annual Nutcracker Ballet recital showcase.
Your student’s company registration and fee includes:
Participation with the in-person Nutcracker audition activity for students to audition in the studio setting for their preferred Nutcracker recital roles
2 private lessons with an EBA instructor to learn customized choreography for their assigned soloist role
Participation in 3 group rehearsals for entire student company
Invite to student company cast party ahead of Nutcracker recital performance
student company exclusive t-shirt given to company members at the Nutcracker audition activity
access to the student company only website page to easily reference any choreo recordings, notes, music assignments, and casting lists.
Enrollment in a minimum of 1 weekly ballet class with EBA’s fall class session is required to be eligible for student company participation. The student company is an optional activity in tandem with weekly class, designed to provide extra performing opportunity for students who love the performance aspect of classical ballet training!
Communication from Katie with all student company families will go out the first week of August to solidify customized scheduling options for the associated private lessons, and proposed dates for group rehearsal schedule. (scheduling for company private lessons will be established custom for each family, with options for both homeschool and brick & mortar school time-frames to accommodate a range of scheduling needs)
Student company dancers will still utilize the private company-only page on EBA’s website for their archived choreography recordings, casting list, and occasional printed notes, but all soloist choreography for the fall 2026 session will be learned during the course of the two included private lessons, in-person with an instructor!
This student company registration is for the fall 2026 session only, and participation is only required for the fall session upon registering to participate. Student company registration is subject to renewal at the start of each class session, parallel to registering for weekly classes afresh each session.
