An additional performing opportunity for students ages 7+
EBA’s Student Company opportunity for the fall class session and The Nutcracker Ballet performance!
eligibility for soloist & demi-soloist casting in the Nutcracker recital
participation in a real ballet audition format for the above roles, happening on August 16th, 10am-12pm (activity check-in at 9:45am)
invitation to the Nutcracker cast party for student company members happening the weekend before the recital
full online access to student company only video recordings of assigned demi-soloist & soloist choreography
mandatory monthly run-through and workshop-style rehearsals on Saturday mornings
An in-depth student company members-only email will be sent out in July to all registered participants with details related to the Nutcracker audition activity happening on 8/16 including the Student Company rehearsal schedule and a link for the online recorded video platform within EBA’s website where all Nutcracker Student Company choreography will be posted.
Selecting the three role options as prompted on the registration form does not ensure that your student will receive casting in all three roles. Your student’s selections for potential roles is there to inform EBA staff of your student’s role preferences as staff/director make casting decisions. ALL student company dancers are guaranteed at least ONE of their selected roles.
Please note : If for any reason a Student Company dancer is unable to attend the announced audition date, then I am happy to accept a video audition in lieu of in-person activity attendance. They can totally still participate in all the other Student Company elements including rehearsals and cast party, select their desired role options, and be eligible for all the special casting!
