Dear EBA students & families,

It’s with great excitement that I get to finally reveal the location of the new studio space for Eleve Ballet Academy.. our new home-base, studio location is in downtown Vass!

After much deliberation and consideration of several potential studio spaces, I decided to move forward with the Vass location for three reasons:

First, this location is special as contrary to what may first come to mind when someone hears of Vass, this spot is not rural or far off the beaten path at all. In fact, the new location is just a half mile from the highway route 1 Vass exit. There’s no traffic circle to navigate (yay!), the downtown neighbors include several fun resturants and Crossroads Coffee, and the new location has ample parking. Second, the new space is affordable for this burgeoning business, which makes possible the continuation of a core EBA goal of keeping classes affordable and accessible to families and students. Lastly, the studio room is large with very high ceilings, and is a super inspirational space for all things dance and will be lovely outfitted with mirrors and new ballet barres. It features a great size waiting room space which will be so fun to equip and decorate to be functional and fun for students to utilize in between classes.

To expand on the setting piece even further, I’ve spent many hours researching what location would be accessible to multiple local towns, neighborhoods and schools. It’s been exciting charting out on maps just how convenient downtown Vass is to Whispering Pines, Carthage, Southern Pines, and Cameron communities. All towns that many of our student base travels from! Even downtown Pinehurst is under 20 minutes from the new location.

I’m so excited to fill this new studio with ballet, tap, and other movement-based classes from morning till night, all continuing EBA’s mission of ballet for everyone & arts with excellence.

Rest assured though that EBA will be continuing the wonderful ongoing relationship we have with the Cannon Park Community Center! All of the already-scheduled classes for the fall 2024 session will still be held at the community center. I know so many families and students have become endeared to the center's location, park amenities, and proximity to errand shopping. We will still be offering the same high-quality ballet education at Cannon Park in the year ahead, with the community center as our secondary studio location.

Thank-you so much for sharing in this very big next step for Ms. Katie, EBA, and our students, and for all the support, kindness, and encouragement that our lovely studio community creates.

Impacting children's lives in a positive light with classical ballet through creative expression, increased self-confidence, kindness-centered friendships, and artistic skill development, is the heart and soul of what I set out to accomplish with starting EBA more than 3 years ago. My initial dream for a ballet-centered community of students has become a beautiful reality. So thankful, blessed, and truly amazed.

Cheers to the next three years of ELEVE and beyond!

Warmly,

Katie McIntire
