Bailey Talley
ballet & conditioning instructor

Bailey began dancing at 4 years old in Ft. Benning, GA. Growing up in a military family she danced at many studios throughout the years but owes much of her training and love for dance to Studio One in Yelm, WA. While in high school, Bailey moved to North Carolina and auditioned for a pre-professional company at Taylor Dance in Southern Pines. During this time, she had the opportunity to attend NYU Tisch Summer High School Program. Her primary focus was classical ballet and contemporary but she dabbled in swing, ballroom, jazz, and musical theater. While dancing in middle school and high school, she had the opportunity to teach and substitute multiple classes at her local studios.

Bailey went on to attend University of North Carolina at Greensboro to obtain a BA in Dance Performance and a BS in Kinesiology. During college, she volunteered for Dancers Connect, a program for children in the Greensboro area to dance for free at UNCG. She also received her Personal training certificate and began training at UNCG's gym her Junior year. During her time at UNCG, she danced under many reputable contemporary artists such as BJ Sullivan, Janet Lilly, Maurice Watson, and Clarice Young.

Following her graduation from UNCG, she took a break from dancing to focus on raising her sons and work as a personal trainer. She plans on seeking a Masters in Occupational Therapy for children when her boys are older. She looks forward to using her love of movement and knowledge of motor development and anatomy to inform her teaching. Bailey lives in Southern Pines with her husband, Patrick, and her two sons, Theodore and Elliot
